Ultimately i dont slide in dms anymore unless its purely about business. I realize i am a horrible texter. i dont text back fast & it has NOTHING to do with who im texting ill just forget. Lol i don’t text my mother back. But people these days take texting very seriously, seriously enough to make me reconsider going out of my way to make friends, lovers, romantic interests or whatever online lol. Im not going to put myself in a position to continue letting expecting ppl down over a reply.

At 22+ when u meet someone u gotta realize something lol people are going to have a whole life before you. A whole bunch of other plates they gotta deal with. And if you’re going to be another plate its better that you bring something to the table worth having there rather than extra clutter and salt. That’s why when i come to someones table, im not in their face trying to be the maincourse meal and get mad when they show other dishes attention they’ve been getting before i even came into the picture. Know your shit is enough. You wouldnt be there if it wasnt. And if u feel skeptical about your presence there, if the attention or lack therof doesnt sit right with you don’t wait until they’ve started digging deep into your dish to leave. If you find yourself to be a hearty meaty meal on a vegans table, Do yourself a favor and go to where carnivores are.
